Wild Skating!
Sabrina took Amelia to a bit of frozen wasteland near Glasgow where they live. Another skater from her club was also there. She also sent me videos and she was doing amazingly well considering the ice is a bit bumpy and uneven. All good practice as the ice rink is closed again.
I've had quite a nice day, knitting, looking at Blips and watching a 2 hour Channel 4 drama documentary about The Blitz. It was really interesting with genuine footage and interviews with some of those who actually experienced it. I think it was a few years old as the people would be long gone by now. If people could live through that then we should be able to live through another lockdown without complaint!
I made a nice vegetable soup for lunch.
Frank went for a really long walk with Bella today and when he phoned me from the trig point with the wind whistling down the phone I thought maybe he was injured as he'd been away for so long. But no, I didn't need to phone mountain rescue - he was just phoning to triumphantly tell me where he was! :-D
My knee is slowly getting better, I can bend it just enough to walk up and down the stairs slowly. Another couple of days and I can go for a walk too.
Back to my knitting now - hope you're all keeping busy with whatever you love doing. :-)X
Thanks for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts!
