The Make Nine challenge
Apparently this challenge has been around a few years amongst crafters. I had never heard of it. A friend from my local Friday crafting group ( unfortunately abandoned since last March due to restrictions) has suggested we take part and when we are allowed to reform the group we can compare what we've been up to. In the meantime we can keep each other up to date with online photos etc. So this is my Make Nine grid, a few multiple items so I certainly won't be bored! I had notification that my planner/diary is on its way so I can start organising what I need to buy for what. I'm looking forward to making the quilts so I'm gathering information on their favourite colours, animals and books etc. I want to make them as personal as possible.
In this time of so much difficulty for so many people I think myself so lucky to have so much loveliness around me and so many things to do to keep me busy and make me feel joyful.
We still have about six inches of snow on the ground so I'm getting my exercise throwing snowballs for Reg and walking up and down the slippery incline of the garden!
I made a video call to mum so that she could see the snow and Reg having fun out in it, made her smile.
Barry's parents have had their second vaccination postponed until March, but they were expecting that so they're ok about it. My mum still hasn't had notification of her first one yet but she's not fretting about it saying that people having to go to work should come before her anyway!
I started the Lunalapin winter cape but now have to wait for the trim to arrive so I can stitch the outer and lining together. I. might make some boots to go with it.
I am lucky to be warm and happy and not suffering with isolation issues, wish everybody else could be too.
