Locking the Gate

Long long day today. But an awesome day as well!

Went down to Liverpool for the National Universities Photography Society PhotoHunt. Usually done in London, this year they've held a second in the North of the country. Students are split into teams of 5 with people from other universities. THey're then given a map with 20 'Finds' (usually statues) and 10 'Themes' and then unleashed on the city to take pictures of everything and anything.

My group were pretty great, chatty and fun and we got on really well which is always a worry before an event like this. Nothing worse than being locked into a challenge for a set amount of time with someone who grinds your gears. The only downside to the day was that I forgot gloves and it was freezing cold outside!

After the hunt we adjourned to a pub for the social, but unfortunately we had to leave in order to get back to Lancaster coz we left booking somewhere to stay in Liverpool until too late. I live close enough to Liverpool for a night out whenever I like though so its not too much of a loss.

Back in Lancaster I met up with friends for Adams birthday and a sober night out. Great Day!
