Hope

Took the kids and dog for a walk this morning, and saw this little camellia. One of my favourite things about Cornwall is our abundance of these flowers, and seeing this little one made me feel optimistic. A little blob of colour on a cold January day, and I needed to hang on to that feeling as the day ended on another, much needed, national lockdown.

As this third lockdown progresses I will be looking forward to seeing more of these, along with the rest of the emerging spring flowers to keep me going until summer. Homeschool and work juggling will be a challenge, but we’ve done it once before so we can do it again!
