Grandeur on the summit

Another fabulous ski tour, long, high and with a remote feel to it. We started at Sfazu and into the Val di Campo, skinning up to the Cima di Cardan. The snow was untracked, the sun shone, the pace was steady and the views were grand. Apart from quite a few nasty little rocks hiding under the pristine snow, which my skis seemed to be attracted to, it was a fine tour. Hot barley soup (take away?!) at the hut on the descent went down a treat.
