Helleborus "Anna's Red"

With the hints of impending doom being given out on the media I wandered desperately round the garden hoping for something cheerful.  Finally I spotted the buds appearing on Anna's Red.

The hints of impending doom turned out to be correct!  In less than a week Cumbria has gone from Tier 2 to full lockdown.  That must be some sort of a record.  I thought I wouldn't be affected by the various restriction but I have to admit this lockdown has rather depressed me.  I had just worked out a reasonable way of having meetings with Kanyl and living a fairly contented life.  Lockdown has rather knocked that.
