Origins

Escaped this grey, cold day with a spot of museum-hopping with my friend C.

First stop Natural History Museum. Avoiding being rammed by baby buggies, we focused on the Cadogan Gallery which is a sort of 'best of' collection of 22 objects. Favourite overheard conversation of day:

Little girl. 'Mummy. Is that bird stuffed?'
Mum, 'Yes darling'
Girl, 'Was he alive when they stuffed him?'

Across the road at the V&A is Light From The Middle East, a great collection of contemporary photographs. Simply wonderful.

Today's blip is a Neanderthal skull taken in the Cadogan Gallery, with C in the background. I am in NO way suggesting that C is stunted in any way, but I thought that ancient and modern man made a nice juxtaposition.

Hope you had a good weekend :)
