Simply the best

“You make me want to be a better man”

Yesterday evening my best friend called to ask me to be best man at his wedding. 

It really was the perfect end to a lovely day and naturally, I accepted in a heartbeat. The blank page holds no fear and I’m looking forward to making the most of a long run-up to draft a worthy speech.

Now braced for impact in light of tonight’s 8pm PM news conference. I’ve a feeling that I’ll soon be seeing a lot more of my youngest children and slightly less of the eldest.
