Afternoon walk

The roads and pavements were lethal again this morning with heavy frost and black ice...

We walked for a couple of hours this afternoon in bright sunshine for much of the time.

We walked along the river Cocker, through Harris Park...then on towards Lorton, before turning up Simonscales Lane and back through Harris Park once again. There were some tricky icy patches to negotiate, but we both stayed upright!

The view of the North Western fells was stunning!!!
