Day 54: A Day Out & A Night In

Sadly I had to spend the morning working, luckily it wasn't too busy so I had the chance to catch up on my paperwork and the dreaded development plans!
They're probably still not correct but at least I gave it a bash.
I met up with McCombers just after mid day and she suggested we go bowling then the cinema. This amazed me as McCombers has never been a fan of bowling, in fact she's been very much against it when I suggested the activity in the past. I was victorious at the bowling, and then she kicked my ass at air hockey. Which is the norm. We then went to see I Give It A Year, a half decent film. It did contain one of the funniest wedding speeches I've ever heard. And I know a thing or two about wedding speeches.

We decided to have a night in, we watched the first episode of Ant & Decs Saturday Night Takeaway, this was very good. Having worked in the restaurant industry for the better part of a decade, I basically missed out on a lot of Saturday night TV.
After telly our evening consisted of trying to figure out the friends trivia board game which I've had in the cupboard for several years. It was deemed too much effort so we just asked each other a few of the trivia questions. Once again McCombers defeated me. We then played a few hands of Sopio!
Once again McCombers was pronounced the winner.
