Ice Cold in Haddo
Met up for a socialement distancè (sounds so much better in french) walkaroonerie around Haddo House grounds with some of my sister's household and dogs, although it was more like a hold onto your dignity skittaroonerie with the black ice. Tess nearly came a cropper near the wildlife garden while Simon did an impressive but unintentional Torvil and Dean wellie boot levitational move on the icy path near the pond without landing on his bahookie, much to everyone's amazed giggles. No falling over which is the main thing and Beth again was really good, no growls or lunges...thank goodness or i'd have gone flying.
Our first and last outdoor meet up with another household for a fair while as lockdown restrictions ramp up at midnight.
Bit of a moment on the drive home when we got flagged down as a farm dog had got spooked and run from a field or the back of a jeep onto what is a scarily fast country road...luckily all ended well with the beautiful collie being reunited safely with owner thanks to the kind stop the traffic people.
Now i can't get that daft 80's Aberdeen cinema advert out of my head, Overton Garage: Stop the Traffic.....
