Everywhere you look...

... Is just beautiful.
More snow on the hills overnight. Had to wear my trapper hat as the icy north wind up on the hill was pretty keen. Although we try and do this walk every day it has turned out to be one of the best 4 mile circular walks we have ever done.
Back at the cottage my makeshift bird feeder is attracting all the tits from miles around. Three or four always jostling for a space. It's never empty. What with them and the nuthatch and the great spotted woodpecker (both bullies!) the peanuts disappear pretty quickly! I am supposed to leave it empty for a few days to encourage the birds to do more foraging by themselves. Just as long as they don't knock on the windows!
