These boots were NOT made for walking
Inspiration for MonoMonday comes from host Picturemull who in turn has suggested a previous entry of hers.
This photograph shows two legs of a table, complete with iron "boots" which can be screwed down onto a floor.
It is a long table but very narrow, measuring 154 x 45 cm.
It has two very wide drawers, separated by a third storage compartment, closed with a hinged flap rather than a drawer face.
We have always imagined it to be a ship's table, being screwed to the deck to avoid sliding about in heavy seas.
No amount of Internet research shows a similar table with boots.
