Old and new

The Pieris Japonica shrub in the garden has plenty of new buds which will open into their lovely little white clock shaped flowers soon but also still has the seed pods from last winters flowers. In reply to Picturemull's image here which is the theme for today's MonoMonday challenge, with thanks for hosting this month.

It's really cold and wet today ! 3 C and wet and grey but nevertheless the garden is full of plants showing buds and the first bulb sprouts are appearing above ground !

Thanks very much for your great comments, stars and even a heart for yesterday's jigsaw puzzle pieces. DJ is red/green colour blind so this is really a challenge, but he's started with the edges and the roof. And yes, he is a patient man :-)
