Piwakawaka in bronze

S and I went to the Auckland Domain (Pukekawa) to visit the hothouses. It’s quite some time since we went together, and they are lush and colourful. As well, we went into the more recently redeveloped fernery in which are a number of bronze sculptures by Greer Twiss. Each is a native bird on a stake, appearing like a plant specimen. They all have bronze labels as part of the sculpture. I did post one or more of them a tear or so back. Perhaps even the piwakawaka (fantails).
