A simple project

Over the past few weekends I have been busy making more lovely things-mainly for my two little boys.

This weekend though I wanted to do a small project for myself, making an apron!

My original plan was to use bias binding, but I had brought bias that was far too small/slim and couldn't sew it on properly. So I ended up having to turn the fabric up at the back and neaten the edges.

I have learnt that curves are a nightmare! Keep to square corners and it is so much easier!

But I am pleased with my apron, it's far from perfect but it suits me!
