Union Canal

As it is the first Sunday in January a new Turf round began at 11:00 and our orienteering ran a fun thing from 11:00 til 16:00 where we had to visit Turf zones in alphabetic order with a minimum of 6 in a run. That meant lots of planning and odd routes so much fun was had. It was thawing today with rain showers and that just made the underfoot conditions terrible with puddles on the ice, and then late afternoon the skies cleared and it started freezing again. The blip was taken at Viewforth Bridge over the canal.
