Around the Village

It was taking down the deccies day today . It took most of the day but once I had done all my part in the proceedings, I went out for a walk around the village . The sun came out briefly and it wasn’t quite as cold . The birds were starting to sing in a cheery way and I’m sure I heard a chiffchaff . 
I was really interested in this sign our history group had erected to inform about the Gascogne stream here and it’s connection with the cloth industry . Love the name ‘Pud Brook ‘ . 
My M-in-law came round to see the episode of ‘ Not Going Out ‘ which she’d missed - it provided some welcome humour at the moment .
