With the Christmas decorations packed away, our decluttered mantlepiece now hosts a colourful piece of glassware purchased by Davina from a local artist in Inveraray. The rich berry-like colours and what appear to be a few falling leaves for me evoke the pre-autumnal - the quality of ripeness and life in its prime.
