Scrambling

As a lovely Christmas present for me (from Rory) we had a few days in Sintra. We wandered through the forest armed with two apples and two bananas. There was a stretch in the middle, surrounded by damp, mushroomy forest, where we weren't sure whether to keep going and hoped it would wind into a circuit. But later we spotted a few castles we recognised and we were home just before dark.
