SATURDAY IN THE PARK....

Sometimes I take Angus for a walk in a large park in our city, for a change of scenery.   I often see adults walking their dogs, playing basketball  & playing pickle ball, children playing on the play equipment & the splash pad
in the Summer. People even have gatherings, sitting in lawn chairs in a wide circle. Today I stopped dead in my tracks, because I had no idea
what was going on this these sticks.  (SEE EXTRA)  At first I thought
it might be a form of fencing, then it was obvious it was a form of martial arts.  It was very choreographed & they were hitting the sticks, not each other.  My grandsons would love it!   

Later, I met a friend for a socially distance lunch outside near the library.
It was a beautiful day & great catching up with her.  We decided to play canasta next week on my patio, which has a heater.   She has a dog, we hope will become friends with Angus.  Social Distancing Canasta may become a new trend.....
