Roslin Curling Pond.

We went out for a little stroll/slither to the Curling Pond this afternoon, though it’s a long time since anybody curled there. I forget what sort of tree/shrub this is, though I suspect it might be a willow (c.f. the one growing in Lake Wanaka?)
The extra is an undated picture taken from approximately the same spot by one Thomas Ritchie (born c. 1864, date of death unknown but was still around when he was 80) and is held in the Bryce collection.
