T-Wood and Caerketton Craigs

The weather has calmed down a bit. The rain turns to snow in the morning, which melts a bit then freezes. No morning bike ride to anywhere. the snow stops in the afternoon, so it is good to get out of the house for a walk up to Swanston. The pavements and roads are a bit icy. There's a bit of snow on the Pentland Hills. The tracks to Lothian burn are a bit muddy, the puddles have pieces of ice in them. It might get a bit colder. The moon is rising, and as we walk through the park, is shining brightly through the trees (Extra 1).
