(not so) Black Poplar

There were various things we needed to get done about the house today so, despite another glorious day, it wasn't a big outing.
Instead Mr Rat and I did a short run locally which included 8 flat bits (part of the club's 12 days of Christmas). They were pretty short bits as there isn't much flat around here and some of them might have had a slight incline. On the way out we went past the ponds where this fine tree was catching the sun. The paths were still icy in places but much improved from Thursday.
