The calm before the splash

George and I took Stella out in the garden early on. As well as getting overexcited in the snow, she also found her favourite toy which had been lost for ages. 

Of course, she then lost it again ten minutes later. 

In the afternoon, Mo and I took her to John Muir Country Park. Moments after this pic was taken, the air of serenity  was broken by a large chocolate lab bounding in and out of the water in pursuit of a stick.
