Charity Challenge Day 20 - Snow and Ice

SATURDAY

I've managed to add another 19 km to the Charity Challenge today.

First an 11 km run down to the Calder and Hebble Navigation and up to Norland Moor in sub-zero temperatures. It was sunny and cold. The canal was frozen over (see extra) and the mud was crispy. I  soon warmed up despite wearing shorts and having my sleeves rolled-up.

Early afternoon, we all went out on an 8 km walk over Norland Moor in the snow (main blip).

The news is grim again. After a decent start, I do hope the government don't screw up the vaccination programme as they have managed to do with everything else. It will be interesting to hear what Boris has to say to Andrew Marr tomorrow!
