Scenes From a Wintry Backyard

It snowed a couple of inches last night. A real heavy, wet snowfall. 

My snowblower bit the dust last month, so I headed out with a snow shovel. After 10 minutes, the blade of the snow shovel cracked off of the handle. On to shovel #2.

I finished my drive, and then helped my elderly neighbor to the west finish hers.

Even though it is very gray, 
it is pretty in its own way.
Even though there is no sunlight,
it is pretty all dressed in white.
