Mrs. K. bought me an Apple pencil for Christmas to use on my iPad Air 4.
A week ago I blipped my first effort — a Fir tree.

Now thanks to a skype tutorial from my younger son, I have learned a little more.
I can draw perfect shapes - circles, squares or as here, ovals.
Fill them with colour and grade it from dark to light. Even use some Gaussian blur.
Begin to understand Layers which I still find quite tricky. People who have used Photoshop will find that easier.
Create a reflection.

The App Procreate is a remarkable piece of software and is used I believe by professional artists. But it is complicated and old people are slow to learn new things.

It takes patience but it is lots of fun.
