Prima ballerina Liliya Orekhova

To watch one faultless fouetté after another from the effortless prima ballerina was quite simply breathtaking.

Ballet is one of the purest art forms in that the body cannot lie and there, on the stage, a dancer has nowhere to hide. This performance was to my untrained eye faultless.

At the end Miss Orekhova was presented to the highly appreciative crowd over and over again. Her graceful arms lapped it all in. Quite splendid.
