A very long walk....
but one of the best I've ever done!
Took the wife and kids up to the Trossachs for a walk along the Three Lochs Forest Drive route. We thought it would be about 3 or 4 miles before getting back to the car.
Eh....no Gordon! Try 8 or 9 miles!
We had got about half way round before this realisation came to fruition, when we came across a lodge (closed!) and viewed the map. Cue a shortcut through very rough moorland where the trees had been felled, to reach the main road.
Although tired and wet we all enjoyed the walk immensely. I would highly recommend taking a trip there if you are feeling up to the long walk. You can also drive the route in summer.
The scenery is just stunning, and I was blipping away like a madman! So many good shots that I had to stick up a little montage tonight. Hope you like them.
I'm back down to Dartford until Thursday. This time I have a few blips planned. I just hope I can disturb my drinking time to take them!
