HMS Duncan

Today I met up with friends for some fun at Xscape Braehead, followed by a wee walk down by the River Clyde in the sunshine.

HMS Duncan, the final Type 45 destroyer, is scheduled for delivery to her base port of Portsmouth in March 2013. It's also the last ship my friend Jo's dad worked on before retirement.

Now heading to Glasgow Film Festival for the screening of Much Ado About Nothing and closing gala. Hopefully get Joss Whedon's autograph tonight!
