Happy New Year

I appreciate 2020 has been a pretty rotten year for most people but there are still many positives to draw from it.

Working from home hasn't been ideal but I've been able to share dinner with the family almost every evening, not to mention help put the kids to bed each night.

If it wasn't for the pandemic, there's no way I would have run so much. Having taken up jogging in March I went on to run over 1800 km this year.

I also wouldn't have moved into the house next door to my mother. Living next door, albeit temporarily, has been wonderful for everyone. It's been great being able to help my mum and also let her help us with a healthy slice of babysitting.

Hopefully next year will afford us to spend an extended stay with Nikki's family in Australia, letting the kids see the other side of their family, all while enjoying a little more sun.
