Happy New Year!!!

A perfect New Year’s Day walk - sun was shining, few clouds in a gorgeous blue sky, the snow had gone powdery in the cold and there was no wind to speak of. Brexit, the virus and all the rest belonged elsewhere for a short period while we counted our blessings.
It is good to think that 2021 will bring a return to a normality when visiting is not preceded by analysis of government guidelines. It is good to think 2021 will bring a return to a normality with renewed appreciation of what is truly important. It is good to think that in 2021 we will be able to travel without fear or foreboding. It is good to think of such things.
