Hopeful New Year *

I checked to see what image I used for January 1st last year. One of my favourite images (of mine) for the year, the sun setting at Martin Mere. It was a glorious sunset.

This year it is two eggs being boiled (sandwiches for lunch). I quite like the abstract nature of the image. And it does sum up what has happened in the last 12 months, as life has become more constrained. The sandwiches were good too.
