T4 D013 Year 3
Traditionally, or typically, we walk to a pub in the next town on either Boxing Day or New Years Day. It's a fairly unexciting urban walk, although it goes through three parks, of about 4 miles but a walk is a walk is a walk and its good to get outside.
We didn't make it on Boxing Day so even though the pub was shut and it can't have got above freezing all day we decided to give it a go today.
One of the parks has an old, sadly now rotten so likely to be taken down soon, tree that always houses a number of chilly looking pigeons. This one was hidden away in one of the holes with his / her feathers all puffed up.
It snowed for a bit as well.
We're working on the cheese mountain for tea And finishing the port. After the weekend it's back to proper meals.
This is the start of Year 3 of Blipping too.
