Icicles

One from our New Year's Day walk. Most of the ice from previous days had thawed - these icicles were returning to the puddle on the road - but the fog persisted. Other photos included snowdrops & butterbur in flower.

We'd normally head for the coast, heath or forest for a "special" walk but thought our local favourites would be too busy - this walk took in country roads & 3 villages in a 13Km loop from the house, &, despite being familiar, there were still things to spot!
