Muddy Dog
Not surprisingly the new year started much as the old one ended… dull, grey and cold. Here’s a photo of a muddy dog, thankfully not mine!
Warning: [political gibberish]
Despite Brexit and the hyperbolic predictions of doom-laden remainers, astoundingly, the UK didn’t sink into the seas overnight and we (the UK) find ourselves in the fine position of having got rid of an overly cumbersome, bureaucratic monstrosity that, in general, favoured the rich while exploiting the poor. Of course, we’ve also got rid of the good stuff that the EU provided as well, but I don’t buy the idea that the UK will suddenly become introverted and isolated as we bury deep up our own backsides. I voted remain.
Of course, our future all depends on what we make of it and I’m not so pleased about our inept, incompetent, lying, crony capitalist mess of a government. That said, I’m equally unimpressed with the utter car crash that is the other lot. If they can’t even oppose the government properly I have no reason to expect they’d cope with the job of being in power any better. But this is nothing new and the world is still turning!
I’m looking forward to 2021!
(Let’s not talk about climate change though...that is serious!)
