Day 272 Tier 3 Day 32

Well we have finally got rid of 2020 let us hope 2021 brings better times and a more normal existence.
We didn't bother to stay up to see the New Year in- have done it so many times.
Cooked a ham for lunch this morning and made stolen potatoes ( jacket potatoes with their inside removed and mixed with onion, bacon, mushroom, tomatoes and cheese - piled back into the skins and warmed through.
I though the elves had all gone away yesterday but what a sight greeted me this morning.
The crackers we were saving had been cracked and Elf and Safety were sitting in a semi lighted room.
Elf said Safety they have gone to bed we may as well open the crackers now.
Excellent idea Safety Elf replied.
I guess it was the bangs going off that awakened me.  Better investigate I thought
Where have you two been hiding - I thought  you had all gone away.
Well It is like this said Elf
We really needed to do the crackers and you had gone to bed so we thought that it would be helpful if we opened them for you.
Hmm I said We might have decided to keep them for later.
But never mind.
And Safety said we hadn't said goodbye to all our followers
So we wanted to just wish everybody a Very Happy New Year  and hope 2021 is a lot better.
So goodbye everybody we are off for a long sleep now.
And with that they waved and were gone

A frosty morning  but now misty and damp
