Beginnings

And so 2021 begins! Let's hope it is a good one for us all.

New Year's Day was sunny and bright and it even reached 5° at one point. Still a bit icy, though, and so I decided to give the Canal a miss - just for a change.

Instead I walked along to Dennyloanhead and then up the path onto the fields. There's a network of informal paths and I had a wee wander up there before emerging onto Station Road above Longcroft. It was a short walk home from there.

Hoping today's bright skies are a portent of better days ahead.
