Kandinsky Calendar

I had never heard of Kandinsky, until a friend drew my attention to his work quite recently. I found that I liked it very much, and decided to buy a Kandinsky calendar, well, two calendars to be precise. I'm not yet sure who I m giving the extra one to. He was an expressionist painter in this native Russia, and as part of the Bauhaus in Germany, in the early decades of the 20th Century. For me, his work is very precise. He is not flicking paint at the canvas. The extra photo shows another of his works on the cover of the calendar.
