First footers!

Happy New Year to all!

Early walk at the Kelpies as the sun was rising and few folk were around.

Home to warm up and have a lazy morning. Just before lunch our doorbell rang and surprise, surprise we welcomed our first footers. Ali , Phil , E and E sat in the sunshine and we had a good chat. E and E then tired Chloe out in the garden. That will make up for her lack of exercise yesterday.

We went up to Barrwood for a walk after lunch and have sat in the sun since coming home. It was like old times ( March, April, May) when everyone who passed enjoyed a chat.

Now looking forward to Andrew’s Beef Bourguignon for dinner with Eve’s pudding to follow.
