Iced bun and...

...thistle.

No, I'm not sure why either; it was just there, in the middle of nowhere. Its incongruity drew me to photograph it. Apart from this an uneventful walk out in in the countryside around the village.

In the extra, I had another go at the buddleia from yesterday without the frost though, which definitely added texture.
