The Old Road

A good day for a walk across Graig Road, the top road to Upper Cwmbran, past The Bush. Along the way are signs and boards describing the Cistercian Way, or Pilgrim's Way, no doubt a once more travelled route connecting (amongst others) Llantarnam Abbey and St. David's in Pembrokeshire. Also information about the old tram roads which crossed here, delivering the ore to the canal down the hillside. Today just me and a few dog walkers.
