Tiddlywinks

Popped into the Stirling car boot sale this morning with the kids - it was very quiet and the few booters that were there were already packing up at 11, so it was mainly traders. I did aquire an old Kodak instant camera for my collection (akin to a polaroid) for a quid on the offchance it was still usable or a collectors piece. Turns out it's neither - obsolete film and battery - so I'll probably cannibalise it for a project.

After the car boot we visited my mum and dad. My mum's looking much better than she has of late which was great to see. With spring around the corner, one last round of chemo and encouraging noises from the consultant, things are looking up.

This is my two little monkeys - Erin holding court as always, and Corrie mixing the decks on the DJay app on his Ipad - and my mum and dad. Still practicing my off camera flash - I used a globe diffuser for this one with a fill in flash to trigger. Lot's to learn with this new kit, but it's instantly better than fill-in flash or grainy low light for a shot like this.
