Where's Wally again?

Another where's Wally shot... (hope you know what I mean by that!) ... and this is the conference that we were invited to today. Our friend's company works with 70.000 children in India alone to accelerate their learning. And they also work in another 8 countries round the world. We had about 400o of the children and their parents and teachers at this venue today.. Can you imagine the noise level?!!! It is great fun finding ways to get them totally involved.. This company teaches them, or you might say supports them to develop their learning ability by learning first of all how to use the abacus.. They then progress to doing some amazing mathematics without the abacus and to learning how to learn in general.. The commitment is through the roof.. This programme struggles in the UK as the parents there are less willing generally to spend the time that the parents in India and other countries are prepared to spend with their children. In India the commitment to learning is phenomenal and that is why, in my view India is emerging as such a key player in the world...
