Heading home from Raithby
The extra is of one of two flood alleviation schemes creating flood storage reservoirs on what are normally tiny streams which unite in Hubbards Hills to form the River Lud. Louth has been famous for its floods, most notably in 1920 when 23 lives were lost, and again in 2007 and 2008, when damage to properties was extensive.
