We're Back!

As I spent the morning at Sweetwater Wetlands, I was gifted with a an 'up- close and personal' experience with this stately pair of Sandhill Cranes. I was sitting on a bench when they walked right up to me! At one point they were within eight feet of me, actually so close that my 100-400mm lens was too much and I had to use my iPhone to get additional shots. The photos in this post were taken with my long lens though. Do take a look at my *extra...The Pair listened to the calls of their Crane Friends and then called back to them.
