Robin And Lizzy (For the last time)

Sad to have to relate that this was the last time Robin and Lizzy were photographed together as the following day Robin was struck by a car on Nashleigh Hill. He had already had one incident the previous August where he had been concussed on the same road (which runs parallel to the cul-de-sac on which we lived) and fractured his jaw, but had made a full recovery. Unfortunately the temptation of what was in the fields on the other side of the main road was too strong, despite the ice and snow, and the temperature not rising above -3 degrees that day. He was two months short of his second birthday, but at least his time with Lizzy and me had been a contented one. Here he was too drowsy to pose for these pictures.
