Hogmanay rose!

I received a bouquet of flowers 9 days ago lovely roses and chrysanthemums, the blooms are all still standing tall ! ( this one is lying down for blip purpose!) :)

A wet dreich raw day , washing the snow away, frosty tonight it’ll be slippy sliding next year! :)

Hogmanay is a real celebration time in Scotland ....... usually it’s party time! Not this year ! Like much of this year of sinister virus it’s preventing many celebrations !
However onwards and upwards ...... positive thinking for 2021!

Tradition in Scotland is cleaning the house to get rid of all the evil spirits lurking in the home throwing out the Auld year welcoming in the New Year!!
I did a fair bit of cleaning today! Just enough! :)
