Goodbye 2020

We watched the final sunset for 2020 after we took the children home this evening. Happy New Year wishes everyone! A line is now drawn under 2020 and a new beginning lies ahead filling us with hope.

Just a little sad that Europe now feels further away. It was great to have the freedom to travel, work, study, marry and retire in Europe! But now we must get on with the remains of what once was.

All the grandchildren came out for lunch with us today which was lovely, after spending the morning at our house.

Miss T has now had three driving lessons and is really enjoying the process of learning. She has been lucky enough to have a lunchtime lesson for the last three days. Her next lesson will be on Sunday.
